Sheds, yards and the space between.
A sheep and cattle property has more to watch than a straight cattle run. Shearing sheds, wool stores, sheep yards, cattle yards and machinery all sit in different places, often kilometres apart.
We connect these with point-to-point wireless links back to the homestead, creating a small private network across the property. Every camera records to one place and can be viewed from the house or remotely.
Areas we often cover
- Shearing shed and wool store
- Sheep and cattle yards
- Machinery and fuel storage
- Boundary gates on public roads
- Homestead and quarters
Designed for the conditions.
Dust gets into everything. Storms bring lightning and power surges. Summer heat sits on equipment for months. We use sealed enclosures, surge protection on long runs and battery systems that handle heat, so the system keeps running between visits, often for long stretches without attention.
Built in as standard
- Sealed, dust-rated enclosures
- Surge and lightning protection
- Heat-tolerant battery chemistry
- Remote health checks on the system
Common questions.
Can workers' quarters be included on the same system?
Yes. Quarters, sheds and the homestead can all be on one network, with access to footage limited to the people you choose.
Do you travel to Blackall and Tambo?
We do for properly scoped jobs. Smaller projects can be supplied pre-configured for a local electrician to install. Supply-only is available Australia-wide.
What happens when the internet drops out?
Cameras keep recording locally to the recorder at the homestead. Remote viewing resumes when the connection returns.
