Managing guests and absent owners.
Many Montville homes are rented to guests or used on weekends. Keys get lost, codes get shared, and owners have little visibility. Keyless entry with codes that start and expire per booking solves most of this.
Cameras cover the gate, driveway and external areas only, so guests have privacy and owners have a clear record of arrivals and departures.
When an alert does come in, you see a short clip straight away and can decide whether to call the guest, a caretaker or the monitoring centre. For owners managing a rental from Brisbane or interstate, that clarity saves unnecessary trips up the range.
For holiday homes and rentals
- Per-booking codes that expire
- Gate intercom answered by the owner
- Driveway and arrival cameras
- External coverage only, for guest privacy
- Remote lighting and arming
- Alerts for unusual activity
Range acreage conditions.
The Blackall Range brings mist, heavy rain and lightning. Properties are often large and sloping, with outbuildings away from the house. We use wireless links where needed, protect equipment against surges and add battery backup.
Where the home is also used by the owner, the system switches between guest mode and owner mode from the app.
Common questions.
Can each guest have their own entry code?
Yes. Codes can be created for each booking, valid only for that stay.
Are cameras allowed inside a rental property?
We recommend external coverage only for rentals and design accordingly.
Can you look after the system while I am not there?
Yes. A maintenance agreement covers regular checks and attendance when issues arise.
