Where mining is managed.
Much of the Bowen Basin is managed from Mackay. The Paget industrial area is full of workshops, fabrication shops and component rebuild facilities, while head offices and commercial premises sit closer to the city.
These sites carry high-value equipment and a steady flow of staff, contractors and visitors. Inner Range or Gallagher access control manages that properly, and Nx Witness gives one view of cameras across the workshop, the office and the company's remote camps and yards.
Mackay sites we secure
- Paget workshops and rebuild facilities
- Head offices and regional offices
- Fabrication and engineering shops
- Warehouses and component stores
- Commercial and industrial buildings
Coastal conditions too.
Mackay brings its own challenges: humidity, salt air near the coast and cyclone season. We specify corrosion-resistant hardware, mount equipment securely and protect against lightning and power events.
From Mackay, we design and install systems for sites across the Bowen Basin and service them through ongoing agreements. Data cabling and network work are included, so security and IT run on one well-documented backbone.
Head office to site
- Central access administration
- Multi-site VMS for all locations
- Structured cabling and comms rooms
- Monitoring and service agreements
Common questions.
Can our Mackay office manage access at our camps?
Yes. Inner Range and Gallagher can administer credentials across multiple sites from one location.
Do you take on commercial work in Mackay outside mining?
Yes. We install security and cabling for commercial and industrial premises as well as mining services businesses.
Is equipment suited to salt air and cyclones?
We specify corrosion-resistant housings and secure mounting for coastal sites and include surge protection.
