Yards hold the value.
Around Dysart, a lot of the risk sits outside the mine gate. Contractor workshops, laydown yards full of components, fuel and tooling, and equipment parked between jobs. These sites are often quiet for long stretches, which is exactly when they need watching.
We design perimeter CCTV with analytics that separate people and vehicles from wildlife and blowing dust, so alerts mean something. Yard gates can be controlled by credential or licence plate, with every movement logged against a person or vehicle.
Yard and workshop priorities
- Perimeter cameras with line-crossing analytics
- LPR and boom gates for vehicle entry
- Workshop door access by trade and shift
- Lighting-aware camera placement for night
- Fuel and tooling store coverage
- Alerts to a manager or monitoring centre
Gear that lasts out here.
Dust gets into everything and summer temperatures are hard on electronics. We use sealed, industrial-rated housings, cabinets with adequate ventilation and surge protection, and mount equipment where it can be serviced safely.
Where power or cabling is not practical, off-grid solar camera trailers can cover a yard within days. We supply equipment Australia-wide and install and service it in Queensland.
Hardened by design
- IP66 or better camera housings
- Ventilated, sealed comms cabinets
- Surge and lightning protection
- Solar trailers for temporary yards
Common questions.
Will kangaroos and dust trigger constant alarms?
We use AI-based analytics that classify people and vehicles, which cuts nuisance alerts from wildlife, dust and vegetation.
Can a laydown yard be covered without mains power?
Yes. Solar and battery camera trailers or poles can be deployed quickly and connected over 4G or wireless links.
Do you only work on mine sites?
No. Much of our Dysart work is for contractors and services businesses with their own yards, workshops and accommodation.
