Two kinds of site.
Work around Clermont tends to fall into two groups. Coal-related sites, such as contractor depots, accommodation and equipment storage, and rural properties where machinery, fuel and stock are spread across a large area.
The approach differs, but the principles hold. Know who comes and goes, record the entry points clearly, and get a useful alert when something is out of place. For both, we design around distance, heat and the fact that nobody is watching a screen all day.
Mining services sites
- Depot and workshop access by credential
- LPR at vehicle entries
- CCTV on fuel, stores and parked plant
- Remote viewing for regional managers
Grazing properties
- Driveway and gate cameras with alerts
- Solar cameras at bores and sheds
- Wireless links back to the homestead
- Fuel tank and machinery shed coverage
Planned for the distance.
Clermont is a fair drive from anywhere, so we scope properly before we travel and design systems that can be checked remotely. Wet season roads and summer heat are factored into scheduling and equipment choice, and service visits are planned to cover several sites in one trip. Equipment supply is available Australia-wide, with installation and service carried out across Queensland.
Common questions.
Do you work on grazing properties as well as mining sites?
Yes. We secure rural properties around Clermont where the job is properly scoped, using solar cameras and wireless links over long distances.
Can cameras run where there is no power?
Off-grid solar and battery systems are well suited to bores, gates and remote sheds.
Will we need to be on site to manage the system?
No. Access, footage and alerts can be managed from a phone or office computer.
