Close to the coast, close to the airport.
Sites between Coolum and the Sunshine Coast Airport sit only a few kilometres from the surf. Salt-laden air shortens the life of light-duty housings, brackets and connectors. We specify sealed, corrosion-resistant hardware and stainless fixings as standard, and keep cable joins out of the weather.
The corridor is also quieter at night than town centres. Fewer passers-by means intruders have time. Detection at the fence line and fast, verified alerts matter more here than a wall of cameras on the building.
What we design for
- Salt air and coastal humidity
- Quiet roads with little passive surveillance
- Mixed trade, storage and light manufacturing
- Sites expanding in stages
- Storm season power and lightning risk
Systems that grow with the site.
Plenty of businesses here are adding a second shed or taking the unit next door. We build on an open IP platform with spare capacity in the network, so adding cameras, doors or a second building is an extension rather than a rebuild.
Core services
- IP CCTV on Hikvision or Axis hardware
- Inner Range or Gallagher access control
- Intruder alarms with monitoring
- Structured cabling and wireless links between sheds
Common questions.
Does salt air really affect commercial CCTV?
Yes. Within a few kilometres of the coast, unsealed connectors and mild steel brackets corrode quickly. We specify hardware and fixings suited to the environment.
Can you link two buildings without trenching?
Often. A point-to-point wireless link can carry cameras and data between buildings where line of sight allows, avoiding civil works.
Do you service sites north towards Peregian and Yandina?
Yes. We work across the northern Sunshine Coast, including the hinterland industrial areas.
